Seamless Installation with Vestaweave Panels
Sunbaba produced Vestaweave scaffold wraps for a recent brand activation to cover a structure housing a DJ and performers.
The scaffold used the Layher system, to which a timber framework was attached. Wooden blocks were used to push the timber frame proud of the Layher rosettes. This setup provided the perfect surface for our printed panels.
We printed the polyester Vestaweave panels with an additional 150mm bleed on all sides to ensure the best fit. Using this method, we wrapped the panels around the timber frame and fastened them with heavy-duty staples. For a neat finishing touch, we incorporated printed Foamex boards featuring the primary branding elements, enhancing stability and ensuring a clean, seamless finish at the corners.
This approach’s primary benefit was its quick adaptability to dimensional changes in the scaffold structure. Scaffold builds can exhibit minor inconsistencies in final dimensions, even in controlled indoor settings. The wrap-around method offered flexibility to accommodate these variations, ensuring the panels fit perfectly without gaps or misalignments. By proactively addressing these concerns, we eliminated any risk of conflicts between the branding and the structure, avoiding potential challenges linked to alternative installation methods, such as the requirement for complex and time-consuming on-site adjustments with rigid panels.
We worked closely with our installation partners and the event team to ensure everything went according to plan. Regular consultations helped us fine-tune the design and installation approach, providing the outcome met and exceeded everyone’s expectations.
The result was a visually striking, stable installation that perfectly complemented the brand activation. Everyone involved was thrilled with the outcome, and the flexibility of our chosen method proved invaluable in ensuring a smooth and successful project.
